does anyone happen to know what the plants are that she planted along the small rocks on the ground? They have a blueish/green cast to them. Is it an herb?

I believe the plants are Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue' (Blue Fescue grass). They are drought tolerant and they like sun or part sun conditions. I hope this helps!

Just to clarify....the little plants near the paving stones (little pom poms of blue) is what I'm identifying. The larger plants are indeed lavender but the cultivar 'Hidcote' is quite small. I think the lavender might be a larger variety. There are so many types of lavender and I really need to see the flower closer up to help with the identification. :-)
