Condo door opens directly into unit. Need 'intro' IDEAS PLEASE!

Condo is on higher floor so walking in with dirty/wet footwear is addressed as visitors walk up flights to unit. However, I typically prefer an 'introduction', if you will, i.e., a small hall or foyer (neither of which is possible to create). The common space between the two units in narrow and at a minimum otherwise I would be satisfied with a coat hook, topiary, seat type vignette.

With this unit, once the door is open (WELCOME IN!) the ENTIRE living space (open concept kitchen, living/dining area- which I like) can be seen. Other than 'getting over it', does anyone have any good ideas on creating the 'introduction'? Thank you very much!

The white door is the entrance to the unit.
