Janie K. Hirsch, ASID Thank you for such nice comments. The headboard was made by applying frame molding directly to the wall in the size we wanted. I then had my workroom upholster the inside with padding and then the fabric.

The drapes are custom made with a striped linen from Dogwood Fabrics. If you are interested, I can find out if the fabric is still available and a current price.

uneekone Do you recall the model and manufacturer of that frame molding that was used around the headboard? I have been searching all over the internet for it and haven't had any luck...

Janie K. Hirsch, ASID I am sorry that I do not know the manufacturer for the molding. I went to my custom framing company and selected the largest framing molding that I liked and ordered it. They usually come in 10' sticks and then we cut it on site to the size that we wanted.

beda1130 In the room I am working on there is an odd window where the bed should go. Do you think this head board treatment would work to hide the window?

Janie K. Hirsch, ASID No, because this is a hard treatment that is fully attached to the wall. Not knowing what it looks like, I would recommend draping the entire wall from corner to corner or just behind the entire bed and make that the backdrop for the bed.
