Marble care

What should I use to clean our marble shower floor without damaging the surface? There is so much contradictory information out there.

I have a marble floor under my woodstove. Talk about dirty! I use 1 part hydrogen pyroxide to 2 parts water. Scrub with a rough cloth soaked in the solution, let it sit for a while and rinse. Marble is porous, so unless it has been coated with something, which I did not do, it will absorb a certain amount of stains from the minerals in your water. You pretty much have to live with some of it.
