Looking to add some architectural interest to a 1970's beach "cottage". The second floor has a view of the ocean, so we were thinking of adding a porch/balcony to not only provide a view but to address the strange window placement. The pitch of the roof is typical of the era...low and unattractive, but costly to change. At some point in the future, we will add over the garage, perhaps 3 stories. Any ideas? Thank you!!!
