i need ways on how to maximize small spaces

To maximize a small footprint use the vertical spaces of your room. Use floor to ceiling shelving, hang decorative hooks or rails, install hinged tables and use multipurpose furniture (ie: coffee table that transforms into a computer desk or dining table).
I once lived in a small one room apartment; to save space, I painted 4 wooden foldable chairs in fun colours and hung them on the wall behind my sofa. The chairs were artwork and seating for dining. Think multipurpose, and the ideas will flow. Good luck
