We are putting in a 13' X 8.5' lanai in this area. The window shown is to become a pocket sliding door same size it is now. I want as much light as possible to enter the lanai, so I do not want a full roof. I am thinking perhaps some retractable panels as this is a north west location and late afternoon it can get pretty hot. I am stumped on the shape of the roof. The sides will be full screens attached to two posts on the front and to the house on the other side. I want it to be pleasing, but not fancy. Simple is best. Anyone have any ideas?
