I need drapery recommendation for this window
July 12, 2014 in Design Dilemma
We just moved into a new house. Attached is my dining room window. The previous owners left the shades but took the fancy drapes they had. I am more modern and tend to only like panels. I don't like something going across the top like a valance. Can you please help me what I should do with this window that is sort of a bay window but not really.

Like you said, simple drapery panels would look great. Attached either on boards (cleaner look) or a simple rod. These would be for decorative purposes only, four panels - one on each side and other two between the first and second, and third and fourth window, not to cover the view. Another option would be to take down the existing blinds and install roman shades instead. Contact your local drapery showroom, they will have options. Beautiful view!
