color to paint wood floors for 1910 house

Trying to decide which colors would be best for my floors. I am not able to replace them and have a painter that can coat them in the meantime

Assuming you will remove the carpet and repaint the floors. Consider having the floors lightly sanded and painted the same color they are now. Coverage will be better than trying to sand, coat and coat and coat a new color.

Sand the existing paint off yourself and then assess the wood before you glop morpaint on them. They could be lovely just clearcoated if you do a good job with the sander.

Looks like the floor were covered up because of lots of abuse. From the photos, it looks like sanding to a reasonable smoothness and repainting is the best option.
