If you want space for two guests to actually sit down (as opposed to simply having a decorative seating area), two chairs are vastly better than a loveseat for comfort. Surefit http:www.surefit.com makes some pet-friendly throws, by the way. New chairs attract pets....

Thanks. I do have two wing back chairs on the opposite side of the room. I already have the leather loveseat I could make use of but I also considered purchasing a linen loveseat from restoration hardware. 5-6ft loveseat. It just would not be the same linen fabric has the sofa.
