deciding between wood, laminate and carpet floor

Just had a leak from upstairs to down. Need to replace flooring - have to make a decision in 2 weeks. Had carpet before and it works but now need to decided between laminate and engineered or bamboo. Have a dog and a husband that has an office in the same space. Help! I live in Austin Texas and need a reliable installer.

What rooms need the flooring? Bamboo is supposed to be extra durable, r.e. dog's nails.

We got rid of all our carpet and replaced with hardwoods, we have a dog and we have a home office I placed a few area rugs under tables, and under our work desks can't be more happier the floor is a breeze to clean and it always looks great also the dogs nails did not scratch the wood! Love the wood floors
