Need help in bringing colours in my living room together

I have 2 large chocolate brown leather sofas (which are so practical) and 1 smaller chesterfied covered in Osborne & Little Lomond Check (F5880-03. I have also have OKA lamp tables (which would be happy to lighten) 2 heathfield lamps; with black silk drum shades lined with cerise pink. I am happy to change the large oak table and rug, together with cushions and curtains (will do without if you think shutters suffice). Shutters are in oak, as is the fireplace, doors and surrounds (all of which, would be too expensive to change). See attached images. The room is 26 X 15 foot in size

you need to bring in the couches so the front feet are on the rug. Move the tv over the fire place, down size the coffee table. i would update the wall sconces and get something with more length. i would take out the plaid couch and add two arm chairs. its not blending with anything. Paint the other walls gray, or change the gray wall. i would put a round table between the two chairs and use a lamp on it. not sure you need the mirror there. the mirror over the fireplace is modern and your space is not. I would add a sofa table behind each and some art to the back wall.

flair pretty much nailed it. You have such a mishmash of styles in this room, from mod to contemporary to traditional, that I think you need to decide what are your favorite things and go with that.

I wouldn't put the TV over the fireplace (though I would remove that mirror; it doesn't go in the room at all). I'd lower the TV on that wall, put a long console under it, move the brown couch to where the Chesterfield is, and put two chairs in its place. (I don't think the Chesterfield goes with anything either, so I'd put it on craigslist or eBay.)

If the Chesterfield is what you love, then we can decorate around it...but it'll be harder.

Glad you see, flair, because I just spent an hour trying to do something with a pink plaid Chesterfield, and all I can say is, "What was she thinking?!?"

This is using what you have...I would make two areas in the room...move the sofa in front of the window closest to TV, move rug and other sofa down toward the TV...perhaps the console with the mirror under the TV. Ottoman as coffee table...you could lower TV a bit...

Agree, remove the mirror between the window. Coffee table is really big...

Maybe put the round mirror over fireplace with wall sconces...

Now put the plaid sofa on the wall where the console was, wing chair and other chairs in that area also.

One area to enjoy TV, and one fireplace...

What about painting the walls blue? It will bring the room together and sooth its users.

I'm not sure anything can bring a room with a hot pink plaid sofa together. Might as well go with Sarah Roth, the pro.

Hi there,I would change the fireplace wooden color into dark (black), also cover the window area with white long curtains, and move the console under the tv area, (place tv on the wall). Cover the chesterfield sofa with a nice cover and remove those pillows. Place a nice colorful rug. take a look some pics below and imagine the place. :)
