I am looking for a more black and gray countertop. Does this countertop have a lot of brown hues incorporated?

Hi, Andrea. I've attached a close-up, high resolution swatch of 3462 Slate Sequoia 180fx® so that you can get a better look at the coloring. If you like this look but are after more gray, you may want to take a look at 3459 Soapstone Sequoia from the same line: http://bit.ly/1f5xyaL or, if you want to lean to a more black counter, 3476 Jet Sequoia: http://bit.ly/1p2J7kn. You can order free samples of each by following those links, too! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Well our 1950s kitchen has white countertops, but we are adding to the countertop space (the area where there was a washer and dryer next to the stove from the previous owner) and can't match the white perfectly. So we are considering changing all the countertops. I prefer the contrast of a darker countertop with white cabinets.
