Hi. The entire hood (less the functioning intake assembly hidden inside, by Thermador) was made by our cabinet supplier, Wood-mode, to our specifications. The bottom and top are Nordic White paint on maple wood. The center section is Dark Lager stain on maple wood. It is hard to tell from this photograph that the central section is wood due to the reflection on the surface... it almost makes it look metallic. However, it is an all wood cabinetry hood, factory built and factory finished. Of course, the cabinets are the same. Thank you for your interest.

I love the range hood - how would I go about getting one made for my kitchen? Are they available in different sizes. I have selected my cabinets already and now looking for a hood that I like. Is there a local rep to speak with?
