Should I get the interior decorator

So we just got a new house and I am in a situation where my mind is going back and forth on how to decorate our new house into a Home. I kind of have an idea of what I want where but still indecisive and scared if I would make a costly mistake. A little tight on budget too as of now. If someone can please give me the opinions if I should get the interior decorator to help me decorate the house, would it be too pricey to have one, should I just take a little time and decorate a room at a time. Would really appreciate any help or advice on this. Thanks

One room at a time is always a smart decision. What all do you want done? A lot of stores that you can purchase furniture from with offer free design services as well.

Many designers don't charge for an initial consultation. This would be a good way to discuss the scope of your project, go over budget, and to get a better understanding of what services they'll provide so you can see if a designer is the right fit for you.
