I would like to know the type of wood used to build the cabinet, and also the color finish??? Thanks in advance.....

Hi Sherri, the cabinet is constructed of Alder and has a espresso stain. Every wood stain manufacturer calls their colors something different. Your local building supply (Home Depot) or paint store should have stain color cards. Start there and see what works.
