We just moved into a new house and it has a great open plan through the kitchen and family room. The entire house was painted in a color called apple pie by the seller which often times has a very pink hue with the light. I am looking for suggestions on a new paint color that will flow from the kitchen into the family room as well as decorating ideas. We currently have a dark green sofa and love seat that I would like to replace in a different color. Thoughts on the sofa/ love seat combo versus a big sectional? I have a 5 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old so I wan't the space to feel cozy as well.
