Hi we wish to remove our old lami panel shower and replace with tiles and clear glass. The problem is we wont be able to use the floor tiles - is it best to go with contrasting brick tiles in the shower to match our square floor tiles? thanks marg

Can you post some pictures of what you're talking about. There's no way to know if contrasting brick tiles will look good with your floor without seeing them.

So if I'm understanding your pictures, is the second picture your floor that's staying? And the pink tiles are what you're going to remove? Are these brick tiles an orangish red color like regular bricks? Since I don't know the answers to these questions, I'll give you some generic advice that I use in renovating my house. You want to make sure your tile looks good with your floor so buy a sample that you can put on the floor and see how they look together. Be very mindful of making sure the tile has the same tones/hues of white that your floor has which is very pink. A lot of whites and creams have a yellowish undertone that clash with the pinkish whites so watch for that. If you haven't noticed this in the past, grab some paint swatches next time you're at a home improvement store, and fan them together so you can see the difference between the colors.

Another thing you might do is go to an online tile website and go through their product selection to help you narrow down your choices. A lot of them offer samples for very reasonable prices.

You might repost this over on the design dilemma forum so you'll get more response. Good luck.
