Has anyone used slate in a bathroom? My tub, toilet , and sink are deep grey. Wall tiles around tub, mottled grey.
Is slate a viable option?

Slate is very uneven so you might want to get a few pieces to see what it's going to be like. I wanted to use slate but my husband refused saying it would be very difficult to get the floor level. Another thing to think about is that if it has sharp edges like you find in natural rock, it could pose a problem if you catch your toes on it.

Get a few pieces, lay them on the floor and see what you think.

i have slate in my patio and i am not a fan, slippery when wet, uneven. and seemingly fragile for rock.
