Fabric Yardage for Upholstery

Hi there!
I love your Earl pattern & am possibly interested in using it for Upholstery for our new house. Is it upholstery grade fabric? Can you please let me know about it's wearability, etc. for use as upholstery for seating?, as we are thinking about it for our couch.
