valance, soffit, curtains?????Need idea to finish shower

Down to nearly finished on new bathroom, and still don't know how I should finish shower off. I thought about having a soffit, or a fabric valance, or maybe just decorative wood trim framing it? The shower curtain is 72 inches long, but the ceiling is nearly 10 feet. Seems to much of a gap. I love the shower curtain, and made the roses to put on the hooks, so I don't want to change this. HELP

I tried the tall curtains, but it made it look taller yet. I put plenty of holes in the wall trying to decide what and where, but I think it turned out OK.
