Is it possible to have two small separate glass doors to a walk in shower?

I am seeing a section of glass being secured to the ceiling in this photo, and wonder if it would be strong enough to support a door attached on either side of it that could open independently of each other.

yes, that can be done. there are a multitude of fastening solutions that most major glass companies offer.

Many thanks! The glass company I used confirmed this, though due to the size of my shower it wouldn't have worked. But it is good to post so that others may benefit!
