We are currently working with Pride Corner in Connecticut, distributors of LiveRoof to grow and then they have licensed installers of the system and plants.

There are different types of green roof systems. Here's one to get you started: http://www.columbiagreenroof.com/

In addition to the waterproofing, growing medium, and plant selection issues, don't forget to verify (ideally with a structural engineer) that the structure can handle the additional loads.

I love your roof garden . I am designing addition with a low slope roof a 30x25 area in New England and want to have a vegetable garden on top . Do you have any recommendations ?

Beautiful layout, planting drought tolerant herbs and edibles on green roofs provides both environmental and tasty benefits. And with ample sun and no chance of the deer or rabbits getting to your crop, you are safe to grow almost anything.
