Pic of the rug, the floors, and the wall color. White trim. The room is reasonably well lit with a mirror on the wall opposite the window. In this room we have a white desk, a black sofa, espresso colored bookcases, white curtains and gold accents (gold desk legs, gold picture frames holding art noveau prints with pale blues and pinks, gold on the curtains, gold chair bases, etc). No real patterns but the mirror is a series of hexagons and there are gold stamped triangles on the curtains..

Anyway, the room needs a rug . I have access to Turkish/ persian/oriental rug with mostly burgundy and tan and olive, (see pic- it is rolled up but there is more burgundy than tan in the middle). So basically, can I use this rug in the room? Or should I go rug shopping?
