Any suggestions on counter stools? I need three and would like something that's not bulky and I can push in without a lot sticking out.

Well it's a nice neutral kitchen. I might have some fun with the stool color if you're brave enough! Maybe these Pike stools from Room and Board.

I think black wood counter stools would harmonize with the black cabinetry. Have you considered painting the walls a deeper shade of taupe. This would unify the cabinets, counter and tile elements and be a handsome back drop for furnishings. The ivory walls look a bit weak with the darker elements in the kitchen. Paint the trim the same color as the walls but in a satin finish. Paint all the interior doors in satin black.

Tres the walls are a coconut color. The cabinets are espresso. We just moved in and were thinking to paint in near future. When we do I will keep your ideas in mind. Thanks!!

Faddu1, If the cabinets are espresso choose espresso colored barstools. Paint suggestions remain the same. Interior doors could be black/ brown or espresso with brushed nickel hardware but keep the trim and walls the same color. Walls matt finish, trim satin finish.
