I have darker cabinets and grey quartz countertops for the kitchen. Appliances are all stainless steel. I need ideas for color, and style of backsplash. Kinda interesting the cat blends in with countertop! Any help appreciated.

I would do a rectangle textured tile (subway tile) is a slightly lighter gray. I also like the looks in these picture.

Mixing gray and warm wood finishes can be tricky...as they naturally fight...so a mixture is the only answer to tie it together...good luck!

Grey is very popular right now.....get samples of what ever you like and take them home to see against your counter top. I think I went through maybe 10 pieces of different tiles if not more. I would get them home after they looked good at the store and nope that one is not right either. It took me over six months to find exactly what I was looking for as I didn't want to change out the countertop. While you are at it, you might want some under the cabinet lightening to brighten up the place. If you use a warm grey, it should balance with the wood cabinets and can be picked up with warm colors in accents like lemon, etc. Personally, I think the grey is too trendy, but taste is personal so go with what YOU like.

Maybe try adding a title with a pattern to it? That way you could personalize the way your kitchen looks even more than just plain subway title :)

Go mosaic. With white, black, gray even stainless tiles. Or a stainless subway would work too.
