Can you post some picture of the room?

Have you been shopping for backsplash tiles yet? If not, take some time and look through tiles online to help you get an idea of what's out there. Most places sell samples at very reasonable rates so order a few that you can compare to your granite. The thing you want to look for is that if they both have the same color [such as white], that the underlying hue is the same. If you look closely at tiles and granites with whites and creams in them, some have a yellowish undertone and others a pinkish undertone. If you mix them, they clash and look horrible. Same with other colors--make sure the colors work together. I find laying one on top of the other the easier way to see any differences, but you can also stand one next to the other.

Here's the cabinet colors and I have narrowed to 2 granite colors also shown. This pic also shows beige wall color and the addition pic is the hardwood floor color.

I'm with the poster above - too much yellow in the granite sample on the right.

Does anyone have Giallo Ornamental or Persian Cream granite in their kitchen ? My concern is I don't want granite that is too light because the room has a lot of natural light.

I don't think you can ever have too much natural light in a kitchen, I like the giallo with your space I think the persian has too much gray as for backsplash I would go with a glass subway tile in a color from the granite and use the same color grout for a nice clean look.
