Kitchen cabinet choice
August 31, 2014 in Design Dilemma
I am planning to replace my kitchen cabinets. I am wanting a timeless classic style that will look stylish for the next 15-20 years. I have my stainless steel appliances.

Any ideas on color, style, etc. would be appreciated.

Shaker style cabinetry is a good option. It can look very traditional or modern depending on the rest of the space. It's not trendy so it won't look dated, and can work with any type of house/ interior design space. Color is a little tougher- it depends on your wall color, taste, etc. White is a good option, but color can work too. Good luck.

I agree with Grusby that Shaker is a classic style that can either look modern (with the right hardware) or traditional (again, with the right hardware).
