Kitchen Island Countertop Shape Help!!

I'm building a new house; should I go with a rectangular island counter top or an arched counter top? What do you think will look better? Help please, all your input is much appreciated. Pictures are even better!

About my cabinets: Espresso color, white quartz counter tops, style: contemporary (without being too modern, if that makes sense). Floor, Shaw Couture collection in "Waterwheel" (laminate). Any suggestions about backslash is also welcome.

How many stools will you use for the island? If more than two and there's the space, I'd go with a curved profile. If you do have several people seated, they can see and converse with each other more comfortably.
