Hi! Could you tell me the dimensions of the area under the pergola? Thanks!

The area is actually broken into two spaces: a dining area to the right that is 20' x 16' and a kitchen area to the left that is 15' x 12'. A good minimal dining area should be about 15' x 15' minimum, allowing for a table, chairs and ease of circulation around the perimeter.

The floor of the dining area is 1' higher than the kitchen area and at the same elevation as the house floor, providing for an optimal relationship between the house and patio. Ample headroom to the bottom of the arbor is a critical determinant in providing the proper "scale" or feel of the space. We have provided 11' in this case.
