What is the name/make of the brown railing?

I want to use a dark brown for my staircase, I think Black won't go with my house. Thanks!

you can achieve color with a stain, the wood selection isn't always the most important, you could achieve this color with Alder, Oak, White Oak, even maple... you just need a talented finisher to make this happen, If you have hardwood floors it might be a good idea to match the species to keep the consistency of the style
