Personally, we love what the homeowner did, which was a long, wood farm table with white slipcovered chairs of varying styles. It kept with the organic feel of the home. The dining room was though a doorway, where the flooring changed to a neutral wood tone with a plastered ceiling with wood beams. The chandelier is a unique antler-inspired light fixture.

I agree, a very large Reclaimed wood farm table. I would use Wing back chairs on ends with a print. For side chairs go cream or gray slip cover.

The swing is a nice touch.

Nancy, great suggestions. I think it really depends if the dining room has the same exact finishes as the kitchen. In this case, it did not. Glad you like the swing! That was originally brought to the job site to help entertain the homeowners little girl during site visits, then it got upgraded and more permanently secured when the job was finished.
