I don't know how to remove these

I moved in somewhere after an elderly woman and these grab bars are in the shower. no screws that I know of (those little circles serve no purpose). I think it's just an adhesive. how can I remove them without damaging the tile? I tried scraping them off but it broke my knife. they are STUCK on. I can hang off them

If they are stuck that tightly, I would bet those ARE screws. Can you gouge them out a bit to see if the screw head emerges?

They appear to be plugs which is not uncommon. Use a knive or screwdriver to pry off the plastic covering the screws and you should be in good shape minus the holes that will know be seen

Believe it they are screwed on and when they are removed you will have holes in the tile so those will have to be sealed to prevent water from getting behind the tile. Good luck.

I'd rather have holes in the tile than bang my elbow everytime I shower. thanks!

Fill the holes with epoxy grout in the same color as the other grout--white? That will ensure that you won't have water getting behind the tiles. I wouldn't trust silicone caulk for the job.
