RE: front foyer plant ledge suggstions?

Please help ....looking for fabulous ideas for a plant ledge in front foyer.....starts approximately 8 feet high and goes to ceiling of upper level......

Hi, drslhudson. I think you can treat the plant ledge as you would any other shelf scape. Live plants may not be the best option since it may be difficult to access them for watering. Pottery, art or any sort of collection that doesn't require close inspection to appreciate would work. Alternately, you could leave the space bare and use paint and lighting to highlight it as an architectural feature. Here are some ideas to get you started:
