Where can I find wood like this?

I have researched these shelves and I understand the hardware needed. I'm wondering where I can find unique wood? A large home improvement store only carries pressure treated and other basic woods. Where can I find reclaimed wood? Would a lumber store have it or do I need to look at a different type of store? Thanks so much!

I live in a very big logging community of British Coumbiaa. Might be able to help you out with rough cut fir.

Local architectural salvage companies (our local also salvages the old timber joists from city buildings). You might also check with smaller lumber mills in your area.
