The Shabby Nest Color can actually be added in many ways without painting. Choosing brightly colored accessories, draperies or even furniture is a great way to bring colors in. You might also choose to use oversize art. By using oversize art, you can bring in color and cover a lot of the "builder beige" of the walls all in one.
Charmean Neithart Interiors, LLC. Having bright white walls is a great opportunity to start an art collection. This house has very white walls which I wanted to paint at first glance.
After I saw the homeowners art collection I changed my mind. There are many great art options on Etsy, you will find something you like. Hope that helps. Charmean

art1 You can add color to white walls using wall art. Choose bold colors that reflect the theme of the room. That way you can add color to the walls without having to paint them. I found great paintings on Etsy, he also has an online store take a look at it http://www.wallartavenue.com/
totlpeace I'm taking one of my walls and hanging the black and white curtains along the entire wall. Here is the original view of the room i tracked down online.
Chandani If you don't have a great art collection- or have the funds to start collecting, there are lots of things you can do. Here are a few:
Purchase large stretched canvases and some gesso and paints and create your own abstract artwork. Practise on craft paper until you are confident.
Buy a yard of a great graphic fabric and have it stretched onto a frame (like an canvas).
Purchase a number of simple frames, maybe all black frames with white mats and do a photo collage wall. If you have digital camera, take a trip to a botanical garden and take a series of shots of interesting flowers close up.
