I'm betting once the heights are established, each row is exactly the same width as the mower, so you just follow the spiral.

Do mowers have adjustable heights? Or....maybe you switch off and mow the length every couple weeks and let the other grow in?

Yes. The mow patterns were established with setting the lawn mower at 2 different heights. Once established, the tall stripe requires less mowing than the short.

It makes me think... use lawn w/another ground cover material instead of all lawn. Then perhaps you only mow 1/2 as much!! LOL

I really like this lawn better than any I've seen!
