First i painted one color and second, i took 3 different any brown tones sherwin colors, i had leftovers... also one of them is metallic copper form lowes it comes in glaze bottle. i also got clear glaze from lowes which looks like white, i mix all brown tone with clear glaze to 2:1...just to make more thinner, so when i am brushing and strokes..glaze allows me to mix and blend. without adding glaze it will dry out fast. All i did kept on brushing vertical with Brown with 3 tone and also, i use blending brush which horse hair in it . i spray little water on and just blend enough to soften the brush marks...i know it sounds tedious..i do like art and painting so its easy for me... metallic copper was used very little here and there...it shines when light hits....hope this helps
