New kitchen help!!
I recently renovated and kept my busy kitchen floor. I really need help picking a backsplash. Any suggestions here are a few pics. TY
please excuse the mess.

jabx2 I like color but did not know if I should go with something more neutral like tumbled stone with soft line of colored stone?? Backsplash is due to be installed in a few days.....

pmdavis38 Just finished the same project. I looked at the "hot" glass tile and thought about subway tile. Both would have worked. Installed the glass tile and love it. My next project is the bathroom.

michigammemom Hard to see your floor in the photo, but if it is "busy" you might consider a solid subway tile that relates to your floor color and add a dark contrasting pinstripe as shown in the inspiration photo. The look is clean and classy.

Deb Orleans Maybe paint the backsplash for now and get an estimate on the 'busy' floor. If you think the floor is 'busy' and contractors are about to show up at your house, get an estimate for something less 'busy' for the floor rather than trying to accomodate something you don't seem to like. What are you trying to say about the kitchen? Cottagey? Clean and classy?

Deb Orleans Otherwise I might lean toward tumbled stone because it looks like your floor and might neutralize the busy effect.

houssaon It is really hard to see the floors. But I like using the subway tile with the pinstripe michigammemom suggested. The colors look right for your space too!
