Maybe paint the cabinets to match the backsplash ...that way the counter becomes the accent piece..

Maybe a neutral paint with more grey in it? A picture of your room back a bit farther might help. I'm assuming your cabinets are new? No? I don't think this is a catastrophe. Don't stress too much. And I love your stove. I really think paint can help. Good luck! :)

how about one of the darker grey tones from the backsplash. grey should modernize the look.

im sure it reads different with out a filtered photo, and in person, but it looks fine to me. let it be for awhile, live with it and see if you feel the same way in a month or so. the floor appears to have a yellow what if you changed the pulls to silver?

You could use the darker grey anywhere, but I was thinking of the countertop.

Thanks for all the comments. I think the handles and pulls changed to stainless would help. There is very little painted wall space in the room to make a significant difference. But I will paint the areas that I can. The photo is definitely too filtered, however the contrast btwn the backsplash and the countertop is accurate. I'll try to post another photo. Since the kitchen is completely new I would not be open to painting the cabinets. Thanks again.

What about switching out your counter top accessories? I'm seeing a multi-colored plate, a yellow bowl and two other vessels holding utensils. Maybe find some pieces that would incorporate the beiges and grays together.
