There is a hearth. The fireplace is actually an Isoken unit, with their standard fire brick inside.

How wide is the fireplace? We are creating a great room with tall windows surrounding a fireplace (5 ft between the two 4 ft windows) similar to the picture. We can't decide how big of fireplace to go with! Thanks!

May I please ask how wide is the stone on the left and right and the wood mantle on the left and right.

The stone is approx 8 1/2 - 9" on each side and the wood mantle is 10" on each side.
