Here are some examples of contrasting grout and matching grout, which do you prefer?

Now that I've seen more pics of cream cabinets and white subway combo, I'm liking the contrast and will go with white! My island is colonial cream granite and we are putting an accent stone above the cooktop to tie them all together! Thank you guys!

Definitely white tile with white grout.

I always feel that contrasting grout makes for a too busy tile pattern. Match it to the tile, let the tile be the star, not the grout. Glad you've opted for white.

I would strongly urge you to find a place that offers MAPEI grout. Pre-mixed, stain resistant and no sealing required. There is a color (basically a non-color) that will prevent the white grout from making everything being -'too stark', called French Vanilla. I selected 'Frost' to compliment my white subway tiles. White for sure.....eventually dark might look like it is dirty

I highly recommend the light gray. You will never see the stains and it gives a perfect contrast that is not too overwhelming.

Laticrete- Silver shadow
Custom Building Products-- Platinum

Any one of those three will be perfect with that tile. All three are very light greys that will be just slightly dark enough to show off the pattern of the tile (and a lot easier to keep clean!).
