what material is this vanity shelf? How did you support it and do you need special drain trap pipes?

It is Formica Basalt Slate. There are hidden L-brackets behind the tiles to support the weight; as for the drain and trap, any contemporary or chrome trap would work as long as they are approved (CSA/UL).
