Loft Ladder

Hello. We've just replaced our roof to have lofts in our kids' rooms. I am wanting a ladder like this one, but I'm only finding library ladder kits. Was this custom or purchased? I'd really appreciate it, thank you.

    Allison, this was a custom built ships ladder done by the carpenter.

    how is it attached to floor?

    It's secured at the top, but you can attach to the floor with screws, or a bracket for added stability.
