Drapery fabric
What is this drapery fabric? Is it railroaded here or does it come as a horizontal stripe?

Pepe Calderin Design- Miami Modern Interior Design The fabric is railroaded ..and the company is Kinassand

jbaglieri When they run a fabric "sideways," so the width of the fabric is the top and bottom, and if you run it, say, along the back of a sofa, you don't have to seam it. Most drapery fabric is meant to run vertically (these stripes are printed to run vertically), but the designer had it run horizontally (railroaded) and seamed the widths together that way.

Bellagio Custom Drapery You can find fabric with these big horizontal stripes. This would be preferable to railroading as the way the fabric hangs over a period of time may be compromised with horizontal seams.

jbaglieri It would be preferable, but I haven't found any with the wide horizontal stripes. If you know of one, let me know!
