    no, its' not. just a regular electric slide in. With induction one has to switch to magnetic cookware, and the client wasn;t prepared to do that...

    There are a number of models becoming available in full ranges, but majority of induction are in separate cooktops. They are expensive, but all my clients love them for speed & ease of use. Some models are better than others as a few fail to provide full power if all burners are on at once. They also may require ventilation that has to be taken into consideration when working with our cabinet makers. Any pot a magnet will adhere too will be adequate for induction cooking. that means the Stainless you likely already own will be fine. Just check it with the magnet test.
