Jamieson Okay, these polls are becoming an almost painful exercise in voting with sooo many great selections! I love the elements used in Modern Landscape Austin, but PUH-LEEZE who can compete with a platform bed/lounge and infinity pool in paradise! Terrapin Residence gets my vote!
ndimi Blue skies can get to the point where it's same old, same old. While Terrapin Residence is gorgeous, the bed has no shade from the sun, and the view is not likely to change much. After years at the coast, I'm in love with the changing of the seasons, and being able to sit on the porch and enjoy summer, cuddle on the porch with a quilt and hot choc in winter, snuggle in Autumn sunlight and shiver on a spring morning, works for me. I vote Lake House Lake Fairies.
Charmean Neithart Interiors, LLC. I voted for the Lake House. There's nothing like the smell of pine trees on the lake. I would love to go fishing and then take a nap.
feeny Actually, this was the first poll that wasn't hard for me to decide. It's rare that any of the photos truly reflect my taste--there is always something I want to change or two equally desirable visions. But in this case.the Lake House is unquestionably my kind of place.
inkwitch Love Terrapin and Menlo -- exotic, luscious, tropical -- all the things one dreams of. But, being older and having lost any interest in getting a tan, those decks lack appeal. Give me shade and a restful view -- hence, 40th Street porch appeals to me. Anyone who hasn't lived next to a marsh/wetland hasn't observed its ever-changing character.
Shannon Ggem ASID- Ggem Design Co LLC Terrapin! I want to lay on that bed all day-- one of those days where you get to read a whole book and you only have to get up to get more ice.
Anita Roll Murals Terrapin for the ultimate beach deck and the Lake House for coziness. The Lake House is a real pull for me with that lake setting and changing of the seasons in view. I love everything about this photo. The colors are all working for me from the warm wicker chairs, the shingles, the trim color and the metal roof. That roof creates a lovely sound when it rains. I would be curled up in the screened porch listening to it while looking out over the lake.
hllndr Lake house!!! Its the house I always dreamed about! Wouldn't it be lovely if the home that gets the most votes was actually a prize in this poll? XD
Mona Ives Terrapin is the most "romantic" for couples. Some of the others had no seating so that was kind of an unfair contest. Menlo park is more my style though - much more private - this is probably the way I'd envision snuggling my honey - not out in the open - not a big PDA fan. Lake House is beautiful and it seems quite romantic - just a little more country than is my personal style.
Diann Lake House no question . Sitting back enjoying the peaceful view and loving life while thinking Life is good with a smile on my face . LOVED the beauty as well of the Terripin gives me the feeling of a dream like place.
Arranged To Sell, LLC What more can one ask for in a deck so beautiful! You can enjoy the view of the ocean while lounging in the pool or reading a book laying against those spectacular pillows!
Carolina Photo To Go LLC I chose the last because it had a cover. Much too hot without one. I did think the 1st was beautiful but that was only because of the location not the deck. If you had put some sort of cover over part of the others, I would have chosen them.
Faireden I think it would be slightly disconcerting to look out and see a huge expanse of nothing but ocean, I think I might feel like I was lost at sea. So, I picked Lake House.
