We are currently in the process of drawing plans for a single story, hacienda style, 3,600 square foot home in Central California. My architect says 9 foot ceiling our standard. We are doing vaulted in the master and great room, but I am wondering if I should not go 10 foot ceilings throughout the rest of the house. We do want 8'0" doors. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
