Other than the recessed lighting are there any other lights above medicine cabinet

There are the LED strip lights that warp around the mirror/medicine cabinet on four sides. The mirror was held off the wall about 6". There are a couple of recessed Fluorescent (cost less than LED) in the ceiling over the standing area in front of the vanity (see the reflection in the mirror).

I wondered about lights above an exterior mount medicine cabinet, seems like a usual vanity light fixture is not far enough away from the wall. It has to be a different type of lighting. Like ceiling recessed.
