Is the quilt nailed directly to the wall? Are those upholstery nails?

Love it. I have some Amish-made quilts I have been trying to figure our how to innovatively hang.

Please don't nail your quilt to the wall! Hand sew a channel of fabric on the back of your quilt at the top. Stop the channel about an inch from the edge on both sides. Slide a thin lattice strip of wood through the channel and secure the two ends of the wood into the wall invisibly. You can find instructions and pictures (likely) on quilting websites, but this is what you're looking for.
